We are hiring: Digital Content Manager (Full-time)

Location: Remote (Cape Town/Western Cape region preferred) 

Time commitment: Full Time (40h per week)

Focus: Operational execution across multiple client brands and our own brand, with a focus on a single core client for 1-2 days a week.

Your profile: Minimum 2-3 years of fitting experience in media and marketing, high-profile agency experience is a plus. Original content creators are also welcome. Passport, clean record and willing to travel internationally.

The Purpose of This Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented, execution-focused team member who can take ownership of digital implementation across our client portfolio.

You will support the team by managing CMS updates, executing Canva-based design tasks, writing and publishing content, and handling the technical legwork required to move campaigns from concept to live.

You will function as a brand steward, actively identifying inconsistencies and issues with existing brand representation and handle their alignment across all platforms. You will work in direct collaboration with the whole team on a daily basis and be included in client contact.

Core Responsibilities

1. CMS & Website Management (Shopify & Squarespace)

  • Brand and message stewardship, ensuring consistency and quality

  • Upload and format blog posts across client websites

  • Optimise basic SEO elements (meta titles, descriptions, tags)

  • Build and update landing pages based on existing templates

  • Manage banners, hero images and messaging across the sites

  • Ensure content formatting is clean and consistent

2. Content & Copywriting Support

  • Draft blog posts and content concepts for campaigns

  • Write copy across different clients 

  • Create any internal marketing copy required (brand guides etc). 

  • Write landing page copy and hooks

  • Draft and brief email copy 

You should be comfortable writing clearly and efficiently in a brand-aligned tone. You must be a native English speaker and be comfortable swapping between American and British English.

3. Design Execution

  • Build simple but polished graphics from templates

  • Ability to follow a styleguide and understand basics of font, colour usage and spacing. We require work samples/ a portfolio from you.

  • Creating, managing, linking and inserting QR codes into designs (managed by a central software you are responsible for)

  • Resize and export assets for different platforms (email, web, social)

  • Prepare carousels, blog graphics, and digital assets

Tech Stack required

  • Google work suite

  • Slack

  • Basics in the adobe suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)

  • Canva

  • Knowledge in emailing software that transfers (Klayvio, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor, or comparable)

  • Basic understanding of how website infrastructure works 

  • HTML/CSS basic system understanding (you do not need to know how to code)

  • Able to employ AI in a productive, creative way without delivering slop.

  • Squarespace, Shopify and WordPress basic knowledge, ready to get good fast

You can have some gaps in the tech stack - all of this is learnable. But you need to have a strong understanding how software like this works and acts to learn quickly. If you lack a strong understanding of more than half of the stated tech stack, please do not apply.

  • Comfortable working independently

  • Understanding of CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify or similar)

  • Confident in Canva

  • Strong written English

  • Tech-comfortable across email platforms, Google Drive, and digital systems

  • Not easily overwhelmed by detail

Starting compensation
Range: 26 000 - 30 000 ZAR/month.
